Gil V. Beltran

10-10-10 was indeed a day that we can never forget. It was a day that my father had his fifth cardiac arrest since he went into coma a week before, after he was diagnosed to have been suffering from congestive heart failure and pneumonia.

Although we long for him to spend more time with us, as the best days of his life were actually spent serving other people, maybe God must have wanted to make heaven more special with a gentle, caring, and loving soul around.

We miss you Papa. Words will be forever inadequate to express our longingness to be with you. We thank you for teaching us your ways, and most especially for all the love that you have shown and made us feel. We may never say it often, but we are always proud to have you as our father. We love you very much. Until we hug each other again.
