SiR Zoilo's Good News

I received a phonecall one lazy afternoon in April....to my surprise, it was my former professor in Math during my High School days, Mr. Zoilo Briones. He blurted out..."iho may goodnews ako sa 'yo...ikakasal na ako at kukunin kitang abay." So i said yes...definitely sir basta ikaw.

Yesterday...i took a leave from the office...pack my bags to Tarlac...with Hunny and my Bestfriend Abner who by the way is an Anesthesiologist. "Veil sponsor ako...cord sponsor si Doc...Sadly,Doc lost his mobile phone on his way to our house in QC. So he borrowed my phone saying that he's going to text his Mahal...Ais...whose based down south. The funny thing about that was that he texted the wrong person...instead of her GF...he texted my officemate Ice...hahaha...and he even called her "Mahal". So funny indeed for him to do that.

Now back to the wedding...we were late...at least we made it...walk down the aisle...but Doc and I were the last members of the entourage to arrive hahaha...mga walanghiyang istudyante....pa-importante. :)

The wedding went well...i see the happiness in the eyes of my professor...including his bride. I just wish that they be happy together for the rest of their lives. And for me...that's the most important "good news" that i long to hear from them.

mEEt D' FocKeRs

Last saturday was my bestfriend's (Ganie) birthday. Since it was a long weekend...May 1, a monday...is Labor Day...i decided to go home to the province. My girlfriend...Bette surprised me when she said that she wants to go with me...oh wow..it was a surprise at first since she keeps on telling me that she'll meet my family at the right time...and i guess she's the only one who knows when it's already the right time.

So on the morning of the 29th, she fetched me near our place. Of course, i was so happy to see her...i gave her the bag that my Sister Ghill bought for her and then i immediately drove Jaff, went to SM West and meet her friend Sagcal...aka "Rona".

I know that Bette's having goosebumps at that time...maybe because she's really shy...or maybe because of other things that happened to her before, so tried my best to make her feel at ease. She was so surprised when she was able to meet my Mum and Sis Monette at the gasoline station...of course my ever loving mother immediately said that we're having lunch at one of their favorite restaurants in town. I know my Mum liked her...and also my Sis.

i don't know if she feels tensed or pressured...but she told that she wanted to drive...so i let her control the wheels. How i love everything about this girl...and she drives so fast. As for me, i know everything will turn out fine. As we took our lunch, it was there where Bette and my family really had a conversation...about things and other personal stuff. Masyado lang talaga akong masaya that time at kasama ko sya...and that she has finally met my family.

Yes we went to the birthday party...and even went to drink some iced coffee with the guyz. i was amazed at how she was able to easily get it going with my closest friends. No girl has shown that kind of rapport with the guyz before. Then we slept together in one bed...kayo ha malisyoso!!!...sorry na lang may kasama kami...sayang...her friend Sagcal and Cupid Willy slept on the other bed beside us. I just love kissing and hugging her before and as i sleep. It's very romantic to see her close her eyes after kissing you goodnight.

The next day, we spent almost the entire day watching TV, telling stories, and eating...until we just decided to watch a movie...just for fun...and we really enjoyed...though we all enjoyed the very hilarious laugh of Sugcal more than we did the movie that we were watching....hahaha....ang kulit. Then another night of endless love and romance.

A minor kink happened when in my foolishness...i left Jaff's Key inside...and Bette lock all the doors...so we had to call her Mum so that her duplicate keys can be sent through the bus courier service...gladly..eveything turned out fine.

The surprise of the century happened when my Mum and Pop took breakfast with us...suddenly my Pop asked her..."o kelan kayo magpapakasal?"...hahaha....that caught us...it broke the ice...and from there...my Mum finally told us her never-ending tale of romance....with my Pop...hahaha...(not again). Sagcal even made jokes with my Pop...and we were all bursting in laughter.

Yes...it really feels so good that Bette has finally met my family...i know that my family is very happy to meet her...and i know that she's very happy to meet her too. She's now part of my family...and i'm sooooo ecstatic to have her in my life.

I love you Hun. :)

i want you to meet my nephew Angelo Matthew...nicknamed AM...but we now call him AGA....not because of the actor but because "umaga" is the filipino for AM/morning. i miss him so much...

Standing Room Only

Whew....i really hate mondays. I had to literally stand on my way back to Manila earlier this morning...the whole trip...146 kilometers of it for three and a half hours.

I feel sleepy, tired, bored, and out of tune....i want to rest. I barely had two hours of sleep...maybe i desperately need to take multivitamins...just to help keep the stress away.

This is really not good...i have scheduled hearings for the week....then so many deadlines to beat...my boss seems to have forgotten that I am also entitled to have a vacation....and last weekend should have been spent for more appropriate things than working for his most favorite client.

What the heck...i am really snoozy.
