After we had our Mekong Delta Tour, our tour guide decided to let us visit a Pagoda in Cam Tho City though it is not part of the package. In view thereof, we were given very little time to explore the place, resulting to us having meager knowledge about the place.
The only information I got from him is that the Pagoda was supposedly transferred a few meters to its present site without it being torn down since according to him, it was very close to the road before.

There are two statues of Buddha located in the garden outside the Pagoda. But the sitting (smiling) Buddha was the one that got the attention of our group. What can you say, it was our first time to see a Buddha that huge.
Eventhough we only spent 10 minutes in the place, we were very thankful to our guide for giving us the time to visit the place. Hopefullythis will become part of the regular Mekong Delta Tour.
